If you're from North America and looking for something that matches the great casual sushi restaurants you can find, this is the place. The staff are amazing, the food quality is great, and most importantly you're not going to pay an arm and a leg to get a few California rolls like you do in the rest of London!

Fantastic authentic Japanese, highly recommended

The best sushi you will find. They are really good, the thickness of the fish cuts are generous and worth the money. My favourite for 6 years is the salmon ikura don, full of flavour and no stink. You won't regret and they have polite staff.

A family favourite. Great sushi in a cosy environment, with a great Japanese chef.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was great. The service was prompt, with a variety of choices, the food arrived quickly and tasted amazing. What more can I say, loved it!

I was sad about the closing of the fabulous Thai restaurant before them but I am glad Makoto moved into here. It's my favourite sushi place in Chiswick. It's a small diner style l, which I love. The people working here are nice and polite. Good selection of food for a small place. They also serve my favourite sashimi: butter fish.All is top notch. Love it!

Beautiful and tasty! Not five star just because the place was a bit cold, not that cozy. Food is great, price are fair for London. Service is very quick and nice. Definitely recommended.

Not great for vegans. Options weren’t clearly marked. Tofu lunch set menu option was a good size. I was on my own and I didn’t feel very comfortable eating here.

Excellent chirashi, and I would assume the sushi is probably good too. We’ve tried many sushi places since we moved to London from Asia, and few are any good. This one’s a real gem and worth a stop. Try the Kaisendon!

A Japanese-run restaurant serving authentic Japanese dishes. Had unagi don and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent and authentic Japanese food with reasonable prices. What’s not to like? The lunchtime specials also offer fantastic value for money and big portions.

I’ve never been to a *proper* sushi bar before; only to the likes of Yo!The authentic food here was completely fresh and prepared to order. Service was with a smile and the food was delicious! Prices were as expected from such a place, but I feel this offered total value for money.This place is miles away from home (I live in deepest, darkest Kent) but I fully intend to visit again when I can!

Like to be in a real restaurant in Japan. The quality is really good and fresh food. I am a bit difficult with the salmon, really rarely I like it and here I can say that I really enjoyed it. Good service. I will go back for sure.

Last week was the first time we went to this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had a good time with the good service, with the finest food and booze and with the honest charge. We will absolutely return there soon.

Excellent Sushi with an open Sushi bar a chef so you can see everything being made. Always fresh and always been very satisfied with everything we order.What's more, even though it's a tiny place and often busy, they will make every effort to fit us in with our baby and push chair when possible.
